Parmi les pièces exposées figure également une remarquable collection de miniatures de maisons somaliennes traditionnelles, qui servaient autrefois de jouets aux enfants des tribus nomades.

Points forts: Le musée abrite une tente originale des tribus nomades, brodée à la main, d'un diamètre de plus de quatre mètres, dont la fabrication a demandé deux années entières à trois femmes. Ses motifs racontent l'histoire de la migration d'un clan à travers sept oasis différentes, et chaque point a sa propre signification.
