Faits rapides: Dans les vitrines de ce musée, vous trouverez l'une des plus grandes collections d'objets nomades de toute la région de l'Afrique. Parmi les pièces exposées figure également une remarquable collection de miniatures de maisons somaliennes traditionnelles, qui servaient autrefois de jouets aux enfants des tribus nomades.
Points forts: Le musée abrite une tente originale des tribus nomades, brodée à la main, d'un diamètre de plus de quatre mètres, dont la fabrication a demandé deux années entières à trois femmes. Ses motifs racontent l'histoire de la migration d'un clan à travers sept oasis différentes, et chaque point a sa propre signification.
