Faits rapides: Le lac est entouré de rochers aux formes étranges, et son eau change de teinte, du vert émeraude au turquoise, selon la lumière. Chaque année, environ 1,5 million de touristes viennent ici pour se promener sur les passerelles en bois le long de la rive et admirer le reflet des montagnes.
Points forts: Par temps calme, la surface du lac se transforme en un miroir parfait où les crêtes des montagnes se reflètent avec une précision photographique. Tôt le matin, lorsque le brouillard flotte sur l'eau, on dirait que les rochers flottent dans les airs.

- Bring a thermos of hot tea with you: even in summer it is cool by the water in the morning, and sitting on a bench with a cup is especially pleasant.
