Points forts: Perchée à 173 mètres, la forteresse offre une terrasse panoramique où l'on distingue la mer à l'horizon, les toits en terre cuite et le cliquetis lointain des tramways, tandis que l'air est chargé d'odeurs de pin et d'iode. Un fait moins raconté: en 1940 le président Lluís Companys y fut exécuté, et en parcourant les anciens bastions on remarque des traces noires sur les pierres et des graffiti de soldats qui racontent des histoires muettes.
