Faits rapides: Le marché de la Ribera occupe ce qui était autrefois le site d'un couvent franciscain, et sa structure d'acier et de verre de 1929 abrite un vaste intérieur de 10 000 mètres carrés. Chaque matin, plus de 150 vendeurs proposent des prises fraîches de la mer Cantabrique aux côtés de produits basques issus de l'agriculture locale.
