Points forts: Des sentiers de randonnée traversent les lacs de Covadonga, où les eaux glaciaires scintillent sous les falaises montagneuses gravées par des siècles d'intempéries. Un sentier mène au sommet du Naranjo de Bulnes, un monolithe impressionnant attirant des grimpeurs du monde entier sur sa face verticale de 2 518 mètres.

- Bring tick spray, in summer they appear in large numbers on the grassy sections of the trails.
- Try the local cabrales cheese served with honey at the refuges, it is a specialty of the region that you cannot buy anywhere else.
