Weather was cloudy most days in October, brought a jacket. Not much nightlife, mostly family-friendly atmosphere.
Local tip: Parking downtown is tricky, use public lots or park a block away to avoid fees and stress.
Visited end of September, crisp air and fewer tourists made it perfect for hikes and walks along the bay.
Check the Erie Art Museum free Thursdays, saved us a bundle and avoided weekend crowds.
Erie surprised me with its chill vibe but watch out for sudden weather changes in spring. Two days was enough for me though.
