A dedicated team of botanists runs conservation programs here that have saved several endangered plant species from extinction.
Points forts: Deep inside the conservatory, look for the corpse flower named "Morticia" that blooms unpredictably every few years, drawing crowds who come to witness its putrid, meat-like odor. The experience of watching visitors wrinkle their noses while marveling at this 6-foot-tall botanical oddity is strangely unforgettable.
