Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Μπαίνοντας, νιώθεις τις κυματιστές γραμμές της πρόσοψης να κατευθύνουν το βλέμμα σαν ζωντανό πέτρινο κύμα. Στην ταράτσα οι γλυπτικές καμινάδες μοιάζουν με φρουρούς, προσφέροντας απρόσμενες φωτογραφικές γωνίες και αίσθηση θεατρικότητας.
Κύρια σημεία: Η κυματιστή πέτρινη πρόσοψη, που κατασκευάστηκε μεταξύ 1906 και 1912 από τον Αντόνι Γκαουντί, μοιάζει με λείο βράχο που αναδύεται από τον δρόμο, και χάρη σε αυτήν το κτήριο πήρε το όνομα από τη λέξη pedrera που σημαίνει λατομείο. Στην ταράτσα δεσπόζουν ανθρωπόμορφες καμινάδες και αεραγωγοί, οι τοποθεσίες τους μάλιστα αναφέρονται συχνά με τον καταλανικό όρο "espanta bruixes" δηλαδή τρομάζουν τις μάγισσες, και κάτω από το φως του ήλιου τα γλυπτά αποτυπώνουν δυνατές σκιές σαν κινηματογραφική σκηνή.

4.0Brought the kids at midday, steady crowds but manageable. The colors wowed them, book a timed slot and skip extras if you are on a budget.
Quick 45 minute stop on a walking route. The facade alone is magical, the interior felt small for the ticket price so mixed feelings overall.
Late afternoon visit, place was crowded and slow to move. Audioguide clarified a lot but the extra multimedia room felt overpriced at 8€.
Arrived at 9:00 and walked straight in, very few people. Rooftop views are brilliant, standard ticket at about 30€ was worth it.
