Γρήγορα στοιχεία: Οι εσωτερικές κολόνες χωρίζονται σαν κλαδιά δέντρων, παγιδεύοντας και χρωματίζοντας το φως μέσα από εντυπωσιακά βιτρό. Ασυνήθιστες γεωμετρικές φόρμες και οργανικά μοτίβα συνεργάζονται, κάνοντας τον χώρο να μοιάζει πως αναπτύσσεται οργανικά.
Κύρια σημεία: Μικρό μυστικό: ο Αντόνι Γκαουντί σχεδίασε τον ναό σαν δάσος από 18 πύργους, με τον κεντρικό να προορίζεται να φτάνει τα 172,5 μέτρα, και οι εσωτερικοί κίονες μοιάζουν με κορμούς που διακλαδίζονται ενώ το φως από τα βιτρό βάφει τα μάρμαρα σε σμαραγδί και κεχριμπάρι. Κατά τη διάρκεια του Ισπανικού Εμφυλίου το 1936 το εργαστήριο του Γκαουντί καταστράφηκε και πολλοί σχεδιασμοί χάθηκαν, όμως μερικά θραύσματα του μοντέλου σώθηκαν και οι σημερινοί τεχνίτες ξαναχτίζουν το έργο με βάση λεπτομερείς σημειώσεις και κομμάτια που επέζησαν.

4.0Arrived at 8am with almost no line. Timed entry 26€, audio guide 8€; skip the tower if you're scared of heights but the nave light and stained glass made it worth it. 5 stars.
Booked the 10am slot and it was busy by noon. Paid 32€ for entry and tower access; the Nativity tower view is unforgettable but the gift shop prices were ridiculous. 4 stars.
Went during peak season at 3pm, line even with timed ticket and it took ages to get in. Entry was 30€ and the guided tour felt rushed; the exterior is amazing but I left a bit underwhelmed. 3 stars.
