Brze činjenice: Virš vartų izdi zaštićeni toranj korišten je ne samo za obranu, već i kao vjetrenjača za mljevenje žita. Zidine tvrđave smještene su samo nekoliko metara od vode, a za oseke možete vidjeti rakove kako se sunčaju na stijenama.
Istaknuto: U unutarnjem dvorištu tvrđave još uvijek stoje originalne glinene topovske kugle složene u hrpe još u 18. stoljeću. Nikada nisu korištene jer se obrambena strategija temeljila na vatrenoj moći, već na rasporedu zidina tako da neprijatelj zapne u uskim prolazima.

- You will get the best photo not from the fortress, but from the wooden bridge over the wadi leading to the entrance.
