The museum building was once a post office and a town lodging, and today it is one of the most important collection sites of the Liptó region's history.
Istaknuto: In the museum's basement you will find an original 17th-century prison cell, where prisoner names and years scratched into the wall are still visible today. The most interesting part is that a secret tunnel opening was discovered in the cell wall, which once led to the town's main square and may have served as an escape route for prisoners.
