Brze činjenice: Osmanlijska tvrđava u Berberi izgrađena je od strane Osmanlija u 19. stoljeću za zaštitu strateške luke na obali Adenskog zaljeva. Zidovi tvrđave uzdižu se 10 metara, a s njezinih tornjeva pruža se panoramski pogled na grad i tirkizne vode zaljeva.
Istaknuto: Unutar tvrđave sačuvani su originalni osmanski topovi iz 19. stoljeća koji su još uvijek usmjereni prema moru, kao da očekuju napad.
