Ime mjesta potječe od srednjovjekovnog židovskog groblja, a navečer vjetar s mora nosi miris borovine i soli dok se s tvrđavskih zidina pruža gotovo 360 stupnjeva pogled na luku i povremene vatromete tijekom gradskih blagdana.
