If you only have a day, focus on the castle and the old town. Trying to do more in one visit felt rushed and exhausting.
Heads up, the beach can get crowded in summer months, especially around the castle. Go early morning if you want more space.
The vibe is relaxed but touristy, some areas felt like a postcard shop overload. Still, the beach scene is chill and family-friendly.
Stayed 4 days and felt that was ideal to blend beach time with sightseeing. Three days might be enough if you’re on a tight schedule.
Buy your castle entrance tickets online in advance to avoid long queues, especially in summer. Also, local buses can take you anywhere cheaply if you stay outside the center.
