Brze činjenice: Three tiers of 2,000-year-old Roman seating held up to 3,000 spectators for plays and gladiator contests. After being buried for centuries, the theater was rediscovered in 1951 during the construction of a building, and today you walk the same stone corridors as ancient Romans.

Istaknuto: Roman engineers carved this theater directly into the hillside, leaving a perfect slice of the city's Alcazaba fortress wall as its dramatic backdrop. During summer performances, actors still use the original acoustics, so even someone whispering on stage can be heard from the very top row.
