Brze činjenice: Ovaj slap, koji teče kroz guste šume okruga Ratnapura, pada s visine od 30 metara i ima oblik koji podsjeća na list bodhi drveta. Slap se spušta u tri razine i ulijeva se u rijeku Kuruvita, koje dalje postaje dio rijeke Kalu.

- Wear shoes with good grip due to the narrow valley and slippery path; going in slippers or sandals can be dangerous.
- There is a small platform on the left side of the waterfall which offers the best photo angle of the entire waterfall; reach there before 8 am on weekends.
- Do not swim directly under the waterfall, the water pressure can be very strong; instead bathe in the natural pool formed on the side.
- There are no food shops nearby, so be sure to carry a water bottle and some light snacks with you.
