Brze činjenice: Local families have been feeding the park's resident swans and geese for decades, with some birds returning year after year to the same ponds. The park sits on 200 acres of ancient woodland and lakes, originally part of a 19th century estate built around a Victorian boating lake.
Istaknuto: Walk past the main lake toward the quieter western edge, and you'll find a hidden heronry where grey herons have nested in the same treetops for over 30 years. On quiet mornings, you can watch them swoop down to fish in the still water just meters from the path.
