Brze činjenice: The cathedral's 68-meter spire makes it the second tallest church spire in the United Kingdom. Its construction spanned 122 years from 1072, and the building replaced an earlier Norman church on the same site.
Istaknuto: Visitors can climb 270 steps up the narrow spiral staircase to the top of the bell tower for sweeping views across London from 52 meters high. The tower also houses a set of 12 bells, with the largest weighing over 1.5 tons and ringing at the start of Sunday services.
