Gyors tények: The museum holds over 150,000 artifacts spanning centuries of Georgian history, from prehistoric goldwork to Soviet-era memorabilia. Its archaeological collection includes some of the oldest human skulls found outside of Africa, dating back nearly 1.8 million years.

The delicate filigree work on a single gold diadem contains over 2,000 individually soldered beads, visible only under magnifying glass.
