Informazioni
- Wear sturdy walking shoes, the cobblestone paths are steep, uneven, and slippery after rain
- Climb to the eastern lookout point near the water cistern for the postcard view of the valley and the Osum River
- Skip the tourist restaurants at the main entrance and instead find the family-run casa near the Saint Mary church for cheaper home cooking
- Visit the castle's small souvenir shops run by residents, they sell handwoven rugs and local raki you won't find at valley-level stores
