Fatti rapidi: Un enorme masso erratico glaciale di 838 tonnellate si trova vistosamente sulla riva, trasportato qui dal ghiaccio durante l'ultima era glaciale circa 10.000 anni fa. I locali lo dipinsero di bianco negli anni Settanta dell'Ottocento per renderlo visibile dalle navi, dando il nome sia alla roccia che alla città.
Punti salienti: Ogni solstizio d'estate, alcuni audaci locali salgono in cima all'alba per una tranquilla tradizione comunitaria che va avanti da decenni.
