Lovely town with historic charm, we loved wandering the streets and checking out local pubs, some spots were pricey though.

If you want authentic Irish stew, skip the main square restaurants and head to a small pub on John Street, prices were better and food way tastier.

Weather was pretty unpredictable, packed a raincoat even in summer. City has a chill vibe, stayed 3 days which felt just right. Food was decent but not amazing.

Waterford’s not as touristy as Dublin, so you get a laid-back atmosphere. Our stay was nice but the rain cut one day short.
