Fatti rapidi: Un frammento marmoreo gigantesco a forma di braccio è uno dei pochi resti ancora esistenti e pesa circa 30 tonnellate. Il tempio era dedicato a Ercole e fu costruito in epoca romana, quando Amman era conosciuta come Filadelfia.
Punti salienti: Ai margini del tempio è ancora visibile un'enorme dita di pietra, così grande che una persona accanto sembra un piccolo giocattolo. Dal sito si gode una vista spettacolare su tutta Amman, e al tramonto le rovine di calcare brillano di un caldo colore dorato.
