Fatti rapidi: Il museo custodisce oltre 4.000 opere in un vasto edificio di epoca sovietica, costruito originariamente come museo della rivoluzione. La sua collezione spazia dall'avanguardia lituana a grandi nomi internazionali come Andy Warhol e Jasper Johns.

Punti salienti: All'ultimo piano, un'imponente vetrata dell'artista lituano Kazys Morkūnas inonda la scala di una luce ambrata che muta nel corso della giornata. La mostra permanente comprende anche un ritratto olografico di Jonas Mekas, il leggendario regista d'avanguardia, che prende vita e sfarfalla mentre si passa davanti.
