Fatti rapidi: Oltre 30 aquile filippine abitano questo santuario forestale di 8,4 ettari, un rifugio fondamentale per uno dei rapaci più rari al mondo. Pag-asa, la prima aquila allevata e nata in cattività nel 1992, vive ancora qui come simbolo vivente del successo della conservazione.
Punti salienti: Trovarsi a pochi metri da un rapace con un'apertura alare di oltre due metri mentre emette il suo penetrante grido territoriale è un'esperienza elettrizzante. Più di 50 aquile filippine sono state allevate qui dagli anni '80, ognuna un'aggiunta fondamentale a una specie che conta meno di 400 coppie rimaste in natura.
