Fatti rapidi: Circa 9.000 anni fa, questo insediamento sulle rive del Danubio ospitava mangiatori di pesce che scolpirono inquietanti sculture in pietra con fronti trapezoidali. L'architettura eccezionalmente conservata del sito rivela case con piante trapezoidali precise e focolari intonacati a calce disposti secondo uno schema quasi matematico.

Punti salienti: Osserva da vicino i massicci massi di arenaria scolpiti con volti umani simili a pesci: sono tra le più antiche sculture monumentali d'Europa, antecedenti le piramidi di 4.000 anni. Gli archeologi hanno trovato queste pietre ancora in piedi esattamente dove erano state collocate, orientate verso il fiume e il percorso del sole attraverso la gola.
