Fatti rapidi: La piazza più grande di Novi Sad misura oltre 300 metri di lunghezza e può ospitare fino a 30.000 persone durante i concerti. Ogni anno si tengono qui più di 50 eventi culturali, dai festival alle manifestazioni politiche.
Punti salienti: Al centro della piazza si erge la statua di Svetozar Miletić, che durante l'occupazione ungherese del 1941 fu gettata dal piedistallo e sopravvisse solo grazie al fatto che i locali la nascosero in una cantina. Sotto la pavimentazione della piazza si cela un sistema di passaggi sotterranei che un tempo collegavano il municipio con la vicina chiesa.
