Fatti rapidi: Più di venti ville in stile Liberty costeggiano il lungomare, costruite tra il 1909 e gli anni Venti dall'élite palermitana come residenze estive. Architetti come Ernesto Basile unirono motivi floreali, decorazioni in ferro battuto e facciate pastello che brillano in modo diverso a ogni ora del giorno.
Punti salienti: Villa Pojero conserva ancora la sua stufa in ceramica originale, decorata con piastrelle dipinte a mano raffiguranti agrumeti siciliani. Sali sulla terrazza privata sul mare di Villa Florio e ti trovi dove le famiglie più ricche di Palermo organizzavano feste piene di champagne con vista sul Golfo di Mondello.
