Fatti rapidi: La Grotta della Libertà di Demänovská ha 8 chilometri di cunicoli, di cui 2,1 sono visitabili, e l'ingresso si apre da un baratro profondo 60 metri. Scoperta nel 1921, da allora è una delle grotte carsiche più visitate della Slovacchia, con oltre 200 000 turisti all'anno.

- Put on a thick sweater even in summer, as the cave is a constant 6-7 degrees throughout.
- Photography is permitted even without a tripod, but flash does not bring out many formations nicely, so try to take advantage of the natural colored lighting.
- The last daily tour is usually less crowded than the morning time slots.
- The parking lot in front of the cave is free, but in the tourist season it is worth arriving early for the spaces.
