Fatti rapidi: Volcanic lava pushed up through the sea about a million years ago and froze into a 10-meter dragon head that appears to drink from the waves. Local legend says the mythical dragon was struck by lightning and turned to stone mid-sip, and the rock glows gold under floodlights after sunset.
Punti salienti: From the coastal path at low tide, you can make out the dragon's curled snout and open jaw clearly as waves crash into its mouth. Try returning after 7 p.m., when colored floodlights wash over the stone and make the whole formation look like glowing embers against the black sea.
