Passeggiando per i sentieri tortuosi si scoprono colonnati nascosti e dettagli di mosaici composti da migliaia di frammenti di ceramica, spesso sorprendenti nelle forme che ricordano creature marine.
Punti salienti: Il progetto di Antoni Gaudí fu realizzato tra il 1900 e il 1914, dando origine alla scultura di mosaico chiamata El Drac e a una grande sala sorretta da 86 colonne che sembrano tronchi di pietra sotto la terrazza. La lucentezza di migliaia di pezzi di trencadís scintilla al sole e solletica lo sguardo, mentre la panca ondulata di circa 110 metri forma uno schienale ergonomico e nasconde sistemi di drenaggio inventati da Gaudí.
