Fatti rapidi: Distesi su circa 2,5 ettari, questi giardini occupano l'antico sito delle scuderie reali. Lo stagno del parterre ribassato riflette perfettamente la facciata occidentale del palazzo, incorniciata da siepi di cipressi potati e imponenti tigli.
Punti salienti: Cerca la balaustra attorno allo stagno centrale, dove quattro re di marmo stanno con le spalle al palazzo, statue scolpite originariamente negli anni Cinquanta del Settecento per la linea del tetto ma mai installate lassù. In una mattina immobile, l'acqua trasforma l'intera facciata occidentale in uno specchio tremolante, e probabilmente l'avrai tutta per te.
