Fatti rapidi: Alta 200 metri sopra la giungla circostante, questa massiccia formazione granitica un tempo faceva parte della stessa roccia di Sigiriya prima che secoli di erosione le separassero. I monaci vissero nelle grotte di questa collina per oltre 2.000 anni, e un monastero buddista del III secolo a.C. presenta ancora iscrizioni visibili e piattaforme di meditazione scolpite nella pietra.
