Taxi rides can get expensive fast. Use the village shuttle bus pass if you plan to get around, it costs less and runs frequently. Best value for transit.
The Gornergrat Bahn ride is great early in the morning before crowds arrive. Buy tickets in advance online to save a few francs. Pack snacks for the journey.
Was hoping for more budget options but this place is quite pricey for food and souvenirs. Still enjoyed the alpine charm and the friendly locals.
