Informazioni
Fatti rapidi: Three French contractors competed to build this neo-Romanesque cathedral between 1877 and 1883. Every single brick was shipped from Marseille, and the 58-meter bell towers were only added in 1895.
Punti salienti: Stand at the front plaza around 5 PM when the setting sun hits the red brick facade and the whole cathedral glows like amber. The 21 massive bells in the twin towers still ring by hand, rung by a single bell ringer who climbs 140 steps to reach them.
