Vroeg in de ochtend of aan het eind van de dag zijn er minder bezoekers, de temperatuur is aangenamer en het licht is beter om foto's te maken. In het regenseizoen (november tot maart) zijn er minder mensen, maar de grond kan glad zijn dus wees voorzichtig.

Quick facts: Covering an area of 39 hectares, this temple complex houses over 240 temples. Although most of the temples are in ruins, they still preserve rich Sanskrit carvings that narrate stories from Hindu epics.

Highlights: The main temple stands about 47 meters tall, topped with exquisite lotus sculptures that are truly stunning. At night, a light show illuminates the temple murals, making visitors feel as if they have traveled back to a religious ceremony thousands of years ago.

  • Draag comfortabele schoenen en sokken, er zijn veel ongelijke stenen trappen in het tempelgebied.
  • Het plein rond de hoofdtempel is een goede plek om de zonsondergang te fotograferen.
