Quick facts: Built in Neo-Baroque style, the hotel features 48 rooms and suites overlooking the magnificent Lake Balaton. It hosted personalities such as Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) and Franz Liszt, serving as a meeting point for European aristocracy.
Highlights: At the back of the building there is a hidden labyrinth of vines, where visitors can taste table grapes straight from the vine. Every summer, the traditional local band plays live jazz in the colonnade, creating an atmosphere straight out of an old film.
