Raske fakta: At approximately 1,000 meters of altitude, it offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Jamison Valley and the Blue Mountains. More than 300 thousand visitors come annually to witness the sunrise painting the sandstone rocks with shades of orange and gold.
Høydepunkter: On winter mornings, the dense fog accumulates in the valley below, creating the illusion that you are floating over a sea of clouds. The golden light of dawn reflects on the suspended water droplets, forming a spectacle of colors that changes every minute.
Insidertips
- Bring a jacket even in summer, the wind at the top is strong and the wind chill drops drastically.
- Bring a flashlight if going for sunrise, the path from the parking lot to the viewpoint is dark.
- The best angle for photos is from the left side of the viewpoint, where the Three Sisters are framed by the trees.
- Avoid weekends and holidays between 10 am and 3 pm, when the place is busiest with tour groups.
