Raske fakta: På denne friluftsplassen står over 70 damplokomotiver, diesel- og elektriske lokomotiver, hvorav noen ble produsert allerede på 1800-tallet. Den største utstillingen veier 165 tonn. Det er det tunge sovjetiske damplokomotivet FD, som kunne dra lass i hele én kilometer.
Høydepunkter: En av de mest overraskende utstillingene er et tysk smalsporet damplokomotiv som Wehrmacht brukte på østfronten, og som etter krigen tjenestegjorde i de hviterussiske torvmyrene i flere tiår.
Insidertips
- Wear comfortable shoes. The site has gravel and rails, so you will be walking on uneven ground.
- The best photos are taken early in the morning, when the sun shines from the northeast and does not blind you when photographing the fronts of the locomotives.
- Do not miss the locomotive "Iskra". It is one of the oldest surviving steam locomotives in all of Eastern Europe.
- If you are traveling with children, let them touch the locomotive wheels. There are not many barriers here, so a lot can be seen up close.
