Raske fakta: Three kilometers of soft golden sand curve around a shallow, crystalline bay that stays calm enough for toddlers to paddle safely. More than 300 days of sunshine each year keep the water temperature above 20°C from May through October.

Høydepunkter: At the eastern edge of the bay a rocky headland forms a natural snorkeling trail, where schools of damselfish and occasional sea turtles drift through underwater caves. Late afternoon light paints the cliffs in shades of amber and rose while the sea turns a deep sapphire, a show that repeats daily yet feels like a secret every time.

Insidertips

Walk east toward the rocky point for quieter swimming and the best snorkelling away from the sunbed crowds.
Arrive by 9am or after 2pm to claim your spot on the sand without fighting for space, especially in July and August.
The water shoes you packed will save your feet on the pebbly entry near the rocks at either end of the bay.
Skip the first row of sunbeds closest to the water; the second row gets more breeze and fewer splashes.
