Pärnu has this chill beach town vibe that feels perfect for a weekend getaway. Food was good but a bit pricey near the boardwalk. Great for a 3-day stay to unwind.
Enjoyed the local seafood, especially freshly smoked fish. Town is clean and safe. Could get quite crowded in July, so visit in June or September if you can.
Avoid the main tourist strip for meals, try the small bakery on Tallinna street instead. Their pies are cheaper and way better than the cafes by the beach.
Nice balance of city and nature. Didn’t expect sunsets to be this stunning here. A bit touristy but it still feels authentic and laid back overall.
If you rent a bike, stay clear of weekends when it’s packed. Check out the local market on Saturdays early morning for fresh produce and unique souvenirs.
