The park's layout and pathways follow the original 18th-century baroque design, with the Swan Pond serving as a centerpiece that has barely changed since the 1700s.

Høydepunkter: On summer evenings, the Swan Pond reflects the entire palace facade like a perfectly still mirror, creating a double vision of the pink and white baroque architecture above and below the waterline. The hissing swans that patrol the pond have been a fixture here since the 1770s, when the first pair was brought from Finland as a gift to the Russian Empress.
