Raske fakta: To tårn på rundt 80 meter forankrer en kirke hvis hall tok håndverkere nesten 200 år å fullføre. Inne henger rivaliserende mesterverk fra samme tid: Veit Stoss' forgylte englehilsen fra 1517 og Adam Krafts delikat utskårne 20 meter høye steintabernakel.
Høydepunkter: Studer sokkelen på Adam Krafts steintabernakel, og du finner skjærerens selvportrett hukende under vekten, med åpne lepper og meisel i hånden, en positur han har holdt siden 1496. Den egentlige 1517-bebudelsesfiguren av Veit Stoss henger lavt i det gratis tilgjengelige kirkeskipet, så besøkende kan gå rundt de forgylte figurene i stedet for å myse mot det fjerne koret.
