Raske fakta: Høyden stiger 286 meter over havet og tjente som en stor marineutdannelsesbase for Chola-dynastiet for århundrer siden. Den unike formen som ligner et musehode ga området dets navn, avledet fra de malayalam-språklige ordene "ezhi" (mus) og "mala" (ås).
Høydepunkter: Gjemt inne i høyden er en 150-fot gammel tunnel kalt "Marmala-tunnelen", som lokale legender sier koblet høyden til Tipu Sultan-fortet flere kilometer unna.
