Morning between 6-8 AM or late afternoon near sunset, when light pierces through the bamboo gaps creating a dramatic effect. Avoid midday as the bamboo silhouettes lack contrast.

Insidertips
- Bring a camera with a wide-angle lens to capture the full bamboo arch, best results come with morning light.
- Park at the end of the road and walk slowly to experience the rhythm of the bamboo clacking in the wind.
- Visit on weekday mornings to avoid crowds, weekends are usually busy with tourists and passing vehicles.
- Wear closed-toe shoes as the road surface is rocky and sometimes muddy after rain.
