Om

Raske fakta: This was Bob Marley's home during the 1960s, where some of his earliest hits were created. The walls are covered with murals that bear witness to the birth of reggae music and life in the community.

Høydepunkter: Bob Marley wrote the song "Trenchtown Rock" in his old room using a guitar borrowed from a friend. That same guitar still stands in the corner, and the original lyrics are handwritten on the wall.

Insidertips

  • Ask the guide to show you the original lyrics on the wall in Bob's room, many visitors miss them.
  • Bring water and a hat because the yard does not have much shade and the sun can be strong.
  • Do not miss the mural painted by local artist Kebi at the entrance, it is a real attraction for photos.
  • Visit the nearby pub after the tour to try homemade ginger beer made by the neighbors.
