Raske fakta: Av kassert glass, tomme flasker og gamle vinduer blåses det daglig nytt farget glass her i åpne ovner som står på 1 100 grader. Atelieret drives helt på håndverk og foredler årlig tusenvis av kilo resirkulert glass til vaser, smykker og skulpturer.
Høydepunkter: Hver farge i dette atelieret oppstår fra en egen hemmelig oppskrift, og en av glassblåserne har i årevis nektet å dele formelen sin for den eksakte blåfargen i den afrikanske himmelen. Spør rundt middagstid etter den glødende, varme skulpturen som fortsatt må tørke med glassblåserens hånd i seg, for avtrykket forblir synlig i glasset for alltid.

- Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, sparks and glass splinters are everywhere on the workshop floor.
- Stop by the furnace around 3:00 PM to see the daily dismantling ritual when the glassblowers close out their workday.
- Buy directly at the workshop and not at the souvenir shops along the road, where the price is often twice as high.
- Don't go straight to the showroom, first check out the furnaces and the work tables where you can see the glass being created live.
