Raske fakta: This small island gets its name from the crocodile-shaped limestone formation that juts out from its edge, not from actual reptiles. At low tide, you can walk across a shallow sandbar to reach it, but the crossing disappears completely when the tide comes back in.

Høydepunkter: Stand on the island's rocky edge at sunset and watch the tide swallow the sandy path behind you, cutting off your route to the main shore. Locals know to time their visit with the lunar calendar, when the lowest tides reveal hidden tide pools teeming with orange starfish and tiny blue crabs.
