Høydepunkter: Inne i kirken stiger det gigantiske sen-gotiske trealterstykket skåret ut av Veit Stoss mellom 1477 og 1489 omtrent 13 meter høyt, med hundrevis av små utskårne helgener og rynkete ansikter som fanger lysglimt fra stearinlys og gullblad. Oppe i det høyere tårnet spiller en enslig trompetist fortsatt det berømte hejnał hver time og stopper brått midt i melodien, et dramatisk brudd som minnes trompetisten som skal ha blitt skutt mens han varslet byen i 1241.
