Raske fakta: This 36-meter-tall mosque was built by King Carol I in 1910 for Romania's Muslim community. From the tower, you get a view of the entire Constanța Old Town and the Black Sea.
Høydepunkter: When standing inside the mosque at noon, sunlight falls through 24 colorful stained glass windows precisely onto the prayer niche. The ceramic tile patterns echo those of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, as they were made by the same craftsmen.

- Climbing the minaret is steep, wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
- The best photo spot is from the square in front of the mosque, where you can see both the tower and the sea.
- Visit on Friday morning to hear the imam's call to prayer in a lively atmosphere.
- After the mosque, walk to the side street where an Ottoman-style café is located. The coffee comes from a Turkish coffee machine.
